Low mood & Depression

There are times when we are feeling low about life; when it feels we have lost the zest for life. Low mood presents itself in different ways. It can make feel life harder and pointless. Low mood affects us not only in an emotional manner, but also in a physical and mental manner.

 

Low mood can have such a significant impact that we become depressed.Depression can make us feel like we are drowning in loneliness, fear, guilt, and worthlessness. Our mind may be full of busy, repetitive thoughts, which can make it difficult to concentrate, relax, or sleep.

Regaining the enthusiasm and enjoyment for life on our own can be a struggle. Together, we can work to find new, helpful ways forward while managing our triggers, negative behaviours, and thoughts.

 

Depression can be effectively treated, making us feel safe and supported, and allowing us to set our own pace.
