ABOUT

I have not always worked as a therapist!

I trained as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist at the University of Oxford,  and spent 18 years working for NHS Mental Health Services in England. Initially, I started my career as an Occupational Psychologist and then as a Gestalt Therapist.

MY STORY

In my own life, I, too, have experienced the rewards and challenges that arise as a result of life transitions, involving  career changes, living in different countries, losing loved ones, and grasping the impact that health difficulties have on one's life.

These transitions showed me how we all struggle from time to time, as few people understood the feelings of uncertainty, sadness, self-doubt, and helplessness that  can accompanied these life transitions.

As a therapist, I listen to my clients, and explore the events and feelings that prompted them to seek out therapy, and together, we find ways to move forward..

While life has its ups and downs,  therapy can enable you to grow and regain confidence and control over your thoughts, feelings, and life!
